Press / Reviews

Chuck has an incredible song list which covers all bases, and with authenticity in all styles - a one-of-kind solo act which includes five different horns, harmonica and excellent vocals ”

— Michael Welch - Film & Music editor

From Frank Sinatra to Jethro Tull, Chuck delivers the goods for real! His selections from the 60's and jazz & blues repertoire are outstanding. Great on all horns, but the tenor sax will light up the room.”

— John Terry - Radio personality

Having worked closely with artists such as “The Beatles, Merle Haggard, and Linda Ronstadt”, I’ve spent a lifetime identifying genuine musical greatness. “Chuck Schumacher” stands proudly among that select company. A gifted multi-instrumentalist and dynamic vocalist, Chuck brings the kind of passion and polish that only come from decades of performing at the highest level. His soulful saxophone and commanding stage presence ignite audiences from the first note to the last. Whether leading “The Beaker Street Blues Band” or appearing with his solo act, Chuck’s performances radiate heart, energy, and professionalism. He delivers the rare blend of artistry and authenticity that defines truly enduring talent. I recommend Chuck’s current shows without reservation—each one a masterclass in musicianship, style, and joy. For anyone who loves live music that moves both soul and spirit, “Chuck Schumacher is not to be missed.” - Buz Wilburn, Executive Director of A&R, Capitol Records, Retired. ” - Buz Wilburn
